BFM Paris direct Île-de-France, is a French television channel of continuous regional information, dealing with the news of the Île-de-France region. It is the 1st local variation of BFM TV of the Altice Media group, it is part of the BFM Regions network.
It succeeds BFM Business Paris, a private local generalist launched in 2010. It is launched under the name of BFM Paris on November 7, 2016 at 19 p.m. on the Paris TNT, (except overseas), cable, internet television , personal mobile television (on smartphones and tablets) and streaming on the Internet.
It is presented as "the biggest local news channel in France" and is staffed by thirty-seven journalists, scooters, and about twenty smartphones that replace the usual cameras. The annual budget of the channel is 6 million euros but should quickly increase to 10 million euros, according to Alain Weill general manager of SFR Media.
