TVI Live Stream from Portugal

TVI is a commercial television channel from Portugal, founded in 1993 and headquartered in Lisbon. TVI's full name is Televisão Independente, which means Independent Television in English. TVI is currently the fourth channel on cable and has been the country's most watched channel since 2005.

This puts the channel in direct competition with state broadcaster RTP1 and SIC, another commercial channel. TVI is part of the media conglomerate Media Capital, which in turn is owned by Spain's Grupo PRISA.

The channel's programming includes plenty of room for telenovelas and reality television, often of its own making or in cooperation with production house Plural Entertainment, which is also part of Media Capital.
