E4 is a digital television channel in the United Kingdom. The station is owned by Channel 4. E4's first broadcast was on 18 January 2001. The channel mainly targets the 15-35 age group. The channel primarily airs American series, such as Friends, ER, 90210, One tree hill, Ugly Betty, and Desperate Housewives.

When Big Brother is broadcast on Channel 4, E4 airs many additional programmes around the series. Including "Big Brother Live", "Big Brother's Little Brother", "Big Brother's Big Mouth" and "Big Brother's Diary Room Uncut". These programs always provide a large increase in the channel's market share.
