Welt der Wunder live On October 16, 2013, the broadcasting of a separate 24/7 special-interest channel with the name Welt der Wunder TV (or WdW TV for short) began. He was freely receivable via Astra. The channel advertises with the slogan "Finally something interesting!“. It should also be gradually distributed in the cable. The planning of an own station had already been indicated two years earlier. On October 14, 2013, the station began trial operation via Astra 1L, transponder 115 (12,663 MHz horizontal, 22,000 kSymbols, FEC 5/6), two days later the regular program began.
Shortly before its 6th birthday, the station stopped broadcasting on Unitymedia's cable network on October 4, 2019. The managing Director Hendrik Hey justified this step with the comparatively high feed-in fees but did not rule out a re-feed-in if the takeover of Unitymedia by Vodafone should enable more favorable conditions in the future. The SDTV feed (576i) via DVB-S was discontinued on January 1, 2023.
