Fox 2 News St Louis live (also known as KTVI) is a television station located in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. It is affiliated with Fox. It is owned and operated by Nexstar Media Group along with KPLR TV (channel 11), which is owned and operated by CW. The studios of both stations are located on Ball Drive, Maryland Heights. KTVI's transmitter, however, is in Sappington.
Fox 2 currently carries most of Fox's schedule. However, it delays Fox's Saturday late-night block (currently, September 2016 consisting of reruns of Fox prime time reality shows) by half an hour to air its 10:00 p.m. newscast. Some Fox programs may be preempted by the station in order to broadcast long-form news coverage or severe weather coverage. However, live sports events may require that such coverage air simultaneously with the Fox Sports telecast.
Fox prime-time shows that are interrupted or preempted by such content might be rebroadcast tape delay on KTVI's main channels in lieu of syndicated programming normally shown at night. The station personnel offer viewers who subscribed to AT&T Uverse, DirecTV, or Dish Network the opportunity to view the affected shows on Fox Now streaming platforms, or their cable/satellite-video-on-demand service, the day following their original airing. Fox 2 live broadcasts syndicated programs as of September 2020. These include Judge Judy and Rachael Ray, Hot Bench, Access Hollywood, and Dish Nation, as well as The Drew Barrymore Show and The Drew Barrymore Show.
